Mamas,
Have ever felt like you require a lazy day every now and then? If you have, you are definitely not alone. Personally, I love being busy and completing tasks and short term goals. I thrive on routines and abiding by a certain schedule for my girls to be on but even I need a break and crave to switch up my routine every once in a while and do absolutely nothing, but snuggle in my bed, watch movies and pig out. I believe as mothers, it should be absolutely mandatory to have a lazy day at least twice a month and we shouldn’t feel guilty about it, especially if it doesn’t happen very often. We definitely need it and I believe that if we do take a lazy day, we will be refreshed and ready to go back to our normal schedules. Now I am not saying to neglect your job ( but if you need mental recuperation by all means use up that PTO) or not take a shower (which is none of my business if that’s what you want to do, I am definitely not judging sis) I am simply saying take a lazy day when you can and put off normal demands that are in your regular schedule, trust me those aren’t going anywhere. The weekend is officially here, so there is definitely some room and opportunity to take a lazy day and relax your mind, get some snuggles in with your kids and do absolutely nothing that you don’t want to do for a day. Go ahead mama, take a lazy day, you definitely deserve it!

That sounds real good —just take a lazy day 😊
