As busy boss moms, it’s sometimes difficult to unwind at the end of the day, after a very busy schedule. Thankfully, there are some helpers for us to unwind. No, I am not just talking about alcoholic beverages,even though that does the trick, occasionally. Tea has been a de stressor for me. I drink tea on a daily basis. I never thought I would say this but I prefer tea over coffee, when I am in need of caffeine. I used to be an avid coffee drinker until I noticed changes that weren’t so pleasant. I would have constant headaches and bloating. I decided to quit cold turkey and have not regretted it since. Tea is beneficial in many ways, but specifically, certain teas help you relax and that’s what us mamas need at the end of the day. Teas that can help relax are: chamomile, lavender, rose and mint. Personally, I enjoy chamomile tea and sometimes with honey to assist in unwinding for the day. I enjoy sipping on tea in silence or while I am reading my favorite articles. Mamas, if you need help unwinding at the end of the day, have tea time for self-care!
