The last 8 months of being a “new” mom has opened my eyes to a lot of nice quality products. Considering my 8 month old, Luciana, thoroughly enjoys bath time, I wanted to incorporate products that would help her relax and enjoy her daily wash routine. Here are a few products that I love using on her and have repurchased:
Honest Shampoo + Body Wash in Truly Calming
Lavender itself helps calm and relax the body especially for bedtime, but to be in a baby body wash it’s extra helpful for parents. This wash lathers so well, and the smell is glorious. It retails at about $9.99. My daughter loves the bubbles that it creates when she is being washed that she giggles almost every time.
FridaBaby DermaFrida The Skinsoother
If it’s your baby’s hair washing day this is a great tool to gentle scrub the scalp. I have noticed that you only need a little bit of shampoo to cover baby’s head. Your baby will absolutely enjoy the massage. This is retails around $10 and it’s worth every penny.
Mustela Shampoo Mousse For Cradle Cap
Luciana had some slight cradle cap and gently scrubbing it with the FridaBaby skinsoother wasn’t sufficient . So I decided to buy this product and it eliminated of all her cradle after one single wash and she hasn’t had it ever since. This is a little pricier at $13.99 but trust me it’s a great buy if you want to immediately remove the cradle cap.
Aveeno Baby Calming Lotion in Lavender and Vanilla
This lotion is a perfect aid to the Honest Lavender baby wash aforementioned. It smells wonderful and it does give a calming affect that makes your baby ready for bed. This lotion retails at $8.99. It’s a perfect addition to your baby product collection.
Johnson Baby Cologne
This is the cherry on top to having your baby smelling nice and fresh. I usually add a splash to her clothing and she is ready for a night of peaceful sleep.
