Product Review: Jozi Curls Moisturizing Conditioner

I was searching for a new cowash to use during the week. I came across Jozi Curls at Target. I was immediately intrigued when I looked at the price, $4.99! I was even more intrigued that it doesn’t contain any sulfates, parabens or colorants. In addition the formula includes African extracts, baobab, moringa and aloe vera. I thought these ingredients would really pamper my hair so I did what any wise boss mama would do and purchased it. I love that it has a pump for an easier application. The smell was mediocre, however it provided my curls and coils with a lot of slip for a quick detangle session. After applying to my whole head, I usually like to leave the cowash in my hair for the duration of my shower to allow it to permeate and really do what it was made to do. After rinsing the conditioner completely out of my hair, I was pleasantly surprised how moisturized my curls were and was pleased that my hair strands looked healthy and defined. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this cowash, it did exactly what I needed it to and that was gently cleanse and moisturize my hair. This is budget friendly and a great buy. I would rate this product a 8/10, only because I really didn’t care for the smell of the product, but overall, would definitely recommend. I included some before and after pics for a better visual.
